A full-length walnut river table, with a seashell-studded blue epoxy river down the middle.
This was my first full size river table. I laid two long live-edge walnut slabs out on a template, set them into a sealed pour frame, and separated them with a river packed with real shells. The photos follow the build from bare slabs to the finished top.
I pour in stages — shells go in first, then layers of tinted epoxy — and the table spends days under plastic while it cures. After sanding, the walnut and the bright river sit at the same flat, glass-smooth level.
