A glossy live-edge coffee table with a river of seashells set in blue epoxy that spills over both ends as a waterfall.
Two live-edge slabs frame the river, and I left a pair of small wooden islands floating in the current. Real seashells are suspended throughout the pour, so the closer you look the more you find.
The build photos tell the rest: slabs clamped into a melamine form, the river poured in layers, a clamped brace holding the islands down while the epoxy cured, and plywood templates holding the cut waterfall ends while I re-glued them. Finished in August 2022.
